No fine print to decode — 1 point always equals ₹1. Here’s exactly how points come to you, and exactly how they leave.
Earn — every visit, in more ways than one
On every stay
Whether you book directly with us or through a platform, 5% of what you pay comes back to you as points.
Calculated after GST and OTA commission, where applicable.
Travelling as a group?
The 5% earned on the stay is one shared pool. Just share the names and number at check-out, and we’ll split it equally.
If nothing’s mentioned at check-out, the full amount goes to whoever made the booking.
Referring a friend
Share your Circle Code. When they complete a stay, the points are yours — valid for a year from their checkout date.
Google review
A 5-star review, once per guest, anytime within a month of checkout.
Airbnb / MakeMyTrip / Booking.com / Goibibo review
A 5-star review on whichever platform you actually booked through. Once per booking.
TripAdvisor review
5 stars, once per guest. Needs a Google review first, under the same name.
Coming back soon
Return within 6 months of your last stay, and we add this to your next visit’s earnings.
Sharing on Instagram
50 pts for 4+ tagged stories, 250 for a collab post, 300 for a collab reel about your stay — all within a month of checkout, capped at 600 pts per stay.
Follow @into.the.shoonya. Points require granting us the right to reshare your content on our stories and use it in paid promotions.

Points from a review or an Instagram post go to the person who wrote or posted it — not shared with the rest of your group.

Validity — how long your points stay yours
1 year + 30 days
Valid for a year from your last checkout, plus a 30-day grace period. Visit again within that window, and your points carry forward.

Valid for a year from the checkout date of the friend you referred — independent of your own visits, so it runs on its own clock.
Points are personal to you — tied to your own Circle Code, and can’t be gifted, sold, or moved to anyone else’s account, under any circumstance.

Where do I find my Circle Code?
Your Circle Code is shared with you after your first stay — at check-out, or in your confirmation email. If you can’t find it, just write to us at namaste@intotheshoonya.com.
Do my points expire?
Stay, review, and Instagram points stay active as long as you visit Shoonya at least once every 12 months (with a 30-day grace window) — if a year passes without a visit, that balance resets. Referral points run on their own clock: 1 year from the checkout date of the friend you referred, regardless of your own visits.
Can I split points across a group booking?
Yes — let us know at check-in if you’d like the earned points split equally among your group, instead of going entirely to the person who booked.
How do referrals work?
Share your unique Circle Code with a friend. Once they complete a stay, 500 points land in your account — valid for a year from your friend’s checkout date, regardless of when you yourself visit next.
