Water scarcity is a growing reality in Mukteshwar, so buying water for gardening never felt sustainable to us.

Over time, we built a natural grey water system to recycle water from our kitchens, basins, and showers—helping us slowly grow from roughly 600 to nearly 900 trees and native plants today.

Still evolving. Still learning.

When we first moved to Mukteshwar 3 years ago, we’d often ask around for nearby walks we could escape to on quieter days.

Almost 1.5 years later, we finally found our way to this short trail—and the first word that came to us was Ekaant.

Somewhere along the way, we met Nandu.
A warm, gentle soul whose home is the last one on this path. We stayed back, lit a small fire, and shared a simple, home-cooked meal from his kitchen—nothing elaborate, yet everything felt complete.

It stayed with us.
Not just the place, but the feeling. And Nandu’s quiet, generous hospitality.

Over time, a few of you have walked this trail too.
Some returned with words, some without—but all carrying a certain stillness with them. Even on days when the mountains hid behind clouds, the journey itself felt full.
