Shoonya was created as a gentle counterpoint to that.

A place where there is no pressure to be productive, entertained, or transformed.

Just space.

Space for long walks and longer conversations.

Space to create without judgement.

Space to read, sing, explore, wonder, and connect.

Space to sit with a cup of tea and watch the clouds drift by.

Maybe the reason these memories move us isn’t because they’re gone.

It’s because we’re reminded of how alive we feel when we’re fully present.

Over the years, we’ve created the spaces—the rooms, the gardens, the pathways, the meals, the little corners meant for slowing down. But what we’ve come to realise is that the feeling of Shoonya isn’t something we can create on our own.

It’s created by the people who spend time here.

By the conversations that unfold over endless cups of tea. By strangers who become friends. By laughter drifting through the gardens. By quiet moments of reflection. By children running around barefoot. By someone pausing to photograph a flower, a meal, a view, or simply a feeling they don’t want to forget.

Every guest leaves behind a little bit of their energy, and somehow that becomes part of the place.

These photographs are a glimpse of the Shoonya you helped create.
